“New York City has always felt, for me, like an old flame: exciting, inspiring, and impossible to ignore. However, Nashville has always been home,” Ava shares. “I wrote this song after a trip to New York when I realized the city reminded me of loving someone you can’t help falling for, even though you know they’re not the one.”

With sharp lyrical detail and emotional honesty, “New York” highlights Ava’s gift for transforming deeply personal experiences into universally relatable stories.
