Alicia Keys & John Legend To Face Off In Verzuz Piano Battle

Instagram Live series Verzuz has set what’s bound to be the piano duel of the year!

The series, created by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, has been challenging musicians in musical battles since March, and the next one is one you won’t want to miss!

Music legend Alicia Keys will face off no other than John Legend as part of Verzuz’ Juneteenth celebration (which marks the day in 1865 when slavery was abolished in Texas).

Keys’ tweeted how excited she was to battle with “her brother,” John Legend, whose seventh studio album, Bigger Love, is set to drop the day of the battle. The release of Keys’ seventh album, Alicia, has been pushed back due to the COVID-19 crisis, but we do hope we’ll get to hear it soon!
