A Thousand Horses Make Grand Ole Opry Debut!

First Single, “Smoke” Currently Top 20 and Climbing the Country Charts
 
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 23, 2015) – Republic Nashville’s A Thousand Horses made their debut performance on the hallowed Grand Ole Opry stage this weekend with their own full 9-piece band. The Nashville-based country rockers performed their debut single, “Smoke,” currently Top 20 and climbing the country charts, as well as the soulful and crowd-pleasing “Sunday Morning.”
A Thousand Horses is on a hot streak with “Smoke,” which set a record for the highest debut by a new act when it opened at No. 28 on the Country Aircheck radio chart. “Smoke” is the lead single off their debut album, Southernality, due in stores June 9.
“Now when people ask me my favorite place I’ve ever played, I can finally say it’s the Grand Ole Opry stage!” says lead singer Michael Hobby.
