“Raise A Little Hell is reminiscent of the times spent with friends out in the country. Bonfires, dancing and great country music that brought us all together on the weekends,” Bowen shared in an exclusive interview with Celeb Secrets. “Written from my personal experiences in South Carolina, I wanted to create a summer song that you won’t be able to get out of your head. I took inspiration from my own memories of sitting on the tailgate listening to artists like Gretchen Wilson, Shania Twain and George Strait to bring a song that would share that same feeling of being carefree, letting loose and having fun.”
Written by Becca Bowen and Sam Oliveri, the track blends modern country production with the authentic storytelling that has become Bowen’s signature, delivering a track tailor-made for summer playlists and country radio alike. Packed with infectious energy, soaring vocals, and nostalgic country charm, “Raise A Little Hell” celebrates the carefree moments that define summer: bonfires, backroads, tailgates, and weekends spent making memories with friends.
With powerhouse vocals and authentic storytelling, Becca Bowen is quickly becoming one of country music’s most exciting singer-songwriters. The West Columbia, South Carolina, native blends “southern belle” charm with an outdoorsy spirit, rooted in a soulful gospel upbringing.
After winning Season 5 of Outdoor Channel’s For Love or Likes in 2021, Becca’s career skyrocketed. She’s since performed at CMA Fest and Carolina Country Music Festival 2026, opened for Alabama, Colt Ford, Emily Ann Roberts, Jimmie Allen, and Frank Ray, and rocked Nashville’s iconic Whiskey Jam and Bridgestone Arena.
Her 2022 debut album Like You’ve Never Been Loved featured songs written by Lee Brice, Rebecca Lynn Howard, and Rachel Bradshaw. Beyond music, she showcased her versatility in Nashville theater, starring in Shiners alongside Chuck Wicks and leading the original production Theophany opposite The Voice winner Jake Hoot. Bowen and Hoot also teamed up for the duet “Sometimes I Do,” further showcasing her commanding vocals and emotional storytelling.
Her 2024 EP, County Line, earned critical acclaim from People Country, CMT, and Whiskey Riff. The standout single “Bettin’ On You” was named Song of the Summer by WKRN and has surpassed half a million streams, landing on Spotify’s All New Country and Apple Music’s New In Country playlists. Across DSPs, Bowen has now amassed more than one million streams, continuing her rapid rise as an emerging voice in country music.
With “Raise A Little Hell,” Bowen continues to showcase the authenticity, energy, and relatable storytelling that have earned her a rapidly growing fanbase nationwide.
