Lady Gaga ‘Abraccadabra’ Wins 2026 Grammy For Best Dance Pop Recording

The 2026 Grammy for Best Dance Pop Recording goes to Lady Gaga for “Abracadabra.”

“Gaga is so sorry she is not here to accept this herself,” her co-producer stated in a message from Gaga. Mother Monster explained that she was preparing for her performance during the main telecast and could not attend the premiere ceremony in person.

“Bluest Flame” – Selena Gomez & benny blanco

The track was written by Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco, Charli XCX, Cashmere Cat, and Dylan Brady; produced by Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat, Dylan Brady, and Bart Schoudel. This nomination is Selena’s third career Grammy nomination and benny blanco’s twelfth, though neither has won in this category yet.

“Abracadabra” – Lady Gaga

From Lady Gaga’s 2025 album MAYHEM, “Abracadabra” is an electropop/synth-pop dance-pop track that blends club rhythms with Gaga’s theatrical flair. Written and produced by Lady Gaga, Andrew Watt, and Cirkut, with additional songwriting credits from members of Siouxsie and the Banshees (because of interpolations)

“Midnight Sun” – Zara Larsson

“Midnight Sun” is a dance-pop single from Swedish pop star Zara Larsson’s 2025 album of the same name. The track was produced by Margo XS and MNEK, with mixing by Tom Norris. This marks Zara Larsson’s first ever Grammy nomination.

“Just Keep Watching (From “F1® The Movie”)” – Tate McRae

“Just Keep Watching” is featured on the F1: The Movie soundtrack and became a pop-club anthem thanks to its fast tempo and cinematic energy. It was released in May 2025 and peaked high on global dance and pop charts. The song was written by Tate McRae, Amy Allen, Ryan Tedder, and Tyler Spry; produced by Ryan Tedder and Tyler Spry with mixing by Manny Marroquin. This marks McRae’s first Grammy nomination.

“Illegal” – PinkPantheress

“Illegal” is a 2-step garage/dance-pop hybrid from PinkPantheress’ 2025 mixtape Fancy That. It uses a sample from Underworld’s “Dark & Long (Dark Train).” The tune was written by PinkPantheress with production by Aksel Arvid.
