ICYMI: Busted is back!

By  |

10 years ago, the British boyband Busted announced they would be going their separate ways, much to the dismay of their fans. It was clear to many, at the split, that there would not be a reunion as member Charlie Simpson was leaving for another group. Fast-forward eight years and the other two-thirds of the trio (James Bourne and Matt Willis) teamed up with their friends in fellow British boyband McFly and created the “supergroup” McBusted. It went from them simply making a cameo at McFly’s 10th Anniversary concerts to a year and a half of tours, both headlining and opening for groups like One Direction, and an album from the combined McBusted crew.
That all seems to have lead up to this moment: Busted has announced that they will be touring (in the UK) in 2016 as the original trio, and that they have been working on music together. In their video announcement, they discuss their history as a band, and how little they had expected a reunion.
Busted fans, rejoice! Your wait has been long, but not in vain!
