SRS Premiere | Caroline Kid Reminisces on Summer Love with Debut Single “Wyoming”

As summer grinds to a halt, rootsy country artist Caroline Kid is reminiscing on all the love the season holds with her debut single, “Wyoming.”  The stripped-down single offers up a storyline of long-distance longing and missed connections based on real events.  We are delighted to share the first listen today ahead of the official release tomorrow, Friday, August 26.  Check out “Wyoming” below.  

Written by Caroline, “Wyoming” is a song that has been close to the heart for many years now.  

“I’ve wanted to release this song for a long time, but knew I needed the stars to align to do it right,” she shared.  “Watching the transformation of this song go from chicken scratches in my journal to a full production with studio musicians is surreal.”  

One of the first songs Caroline Kid wrote when arriving in Nashville over six years ago, “Wyoming” has become a tried and true favorite for listeners at shows and writer’s rounds in the area.  The breezy melody is sure to grab hold of any passive ears, while Caroline’s raspy, soulful vocals will keep them coming back for more.
