Written by Payton Smith, Andy Sheridan, Beau Bailey and Blake Bollinger, “Lived Up” pairs personal, introspective lyrics with soaring melodies and modern country production. The reflective track follows a string of successful releases from the Louisiana native and reinforces his reputation as one of country music’s most promising young voices.

Louisiana native singer‑songwriter and self‑taught guitarist Payton Smith first emerged in 2019, quickly amassing more than 50 million streams with his debut single “Like I Knew You Would.” Known for high‑energy guitar work and smooth vocals, Smith composed and played every string instrument on his debut project. Taste of Country praised his “raw talent, authenticity and strong work ethic,” and MusicRow named him a Next Big Thing. “Like I Knew You Would” charted as the No. 7 song of the year on Spotify’s Hot Country.
