New Music Friday 11/8

This cold weather sweeping across most of the US is not going to keep us down. The cold never bothered us anyway – right? Wrong. Luckily, hot new tunes are here to keep us toasty and warm from all across the musical spectrum. Hunker in for the weekend with this playlist of all of the week’s best offerings from country to EDM and everywhere in between.

Chainsmokers – “Push My Luck”

From their new EP World War Joy the Chainsmokers are testing the waters with a new
relationship in their lyrically driven song. A bit tame in relation to past releases we can’t help but think we might push replay.

Jenna Paulette – “Small Talk” Music Video

In her brand new music video, country’s resident cowgirl is right at home in another
aesthetically pleasing visual for her song “Small Talk.” The song is catchy and we don’t hate looking at her cute co-star. Check it out!

Levi Hummon ft. Runaway June – “Cowboy Take Me Away”

Levi Hummon, the son of the original writer of this song, is taking us all the way back.Twenty years back to be exact, with this fresh new rendition of the Dixie Chicks classic. Joined by the female trio Runaway June who recently celebrated a top 5 single, the song is a relaxed and enjoyable take on one of our all-time favorites. Let us know what you think!

FKA twigs – “sad day”

Always including the newest and coolest beats and innovative ways of creating music. This haunting melody and vocal combination is what she’s known best for and what keeps us coming back with every new release – because you are never quite sure what you’ll get!!!

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus – “Trust”

This stripped down new song from RJA is one of the reasons we love them. No big production is needed and the vocals are just as pure as they were back when we were jamming out to “Face Down.” We think you’ll really enjoy this one!

JuJu Rossi – “Kissing Strangers”

JuJu Rossi has ‘popped’ into the country scene with the debut release of her flirty new single “Kissing Strangers.” We are so excited for what’s to come from this country-pop female who sure knows how to make the best of a bad situation.

Bastille ft. Alessia Cara – “Another Place”

Talk about dream collaboration – we cannot get enough of these two. The beat-oriented song doesn’t distract from the distinct vocals of Bastille (that we love). And we have missed Alessia, she comes in so smooth on this song with her vocals to elevate an already amazing tune.

Steve Moakler – “How Have We Never”

From his brand new Pocket 2 release, Steve is giving us three brand new songs today including the lead track “How Have We Never” which he has said his sonically one of his favorites he’s ever done. We have to agree, we love the easy-listening quality of this one.

Matthew Chaim “The Mathematics of Nature”

Matthew Chaim has a brand new album out. (Insert math pun here.) We already were obsessed and then we found out he created the album cover my hand with crayons. Mind blow!

PI3RCE “Like Kylie”

Pink princess PI3RCE has summed up 2019 in a song.
