FLETCHER Announces New Album, In Search Of The Antidote

Global queer sensation FLETCHER has announced the title and release date for her second album, In Search Of The Antidote.

A follow-up to her 2022 debut album Girl Of My Dreams, In Search Of The Antidote will be released on March 22nd via Capitol/EMIRecords.

In this new record, Cari Fletcher will tackle themes such as identity, insecurity, and self-fulfilment. Through her now infamous unfiltered storytelling, FLETCHER will embark her listeners on another trip throughout her personal journey. In a press statement, the 29-year-old singer shared:

Over the years, I’ve looked for the antidote in so many things: women, the road, the stage, fans, spirituality and self-reflection. Making this album was an excavation, a deep dive where I asked myself what would truly heal me, and my ultimate realisation was that love is the antidote.

From the ‘Finding Fletcher’ EP to ‘you ruined new york city for me’ to THE S(EX) TAPES‘ to ‘Girl Of My Dreams’, love has always been my muse. But before now, I don’t think I’d ever really looked at love through all the different lenses and angles and discovered all its infinite manifestations. That’s what this album is about for me.

This time around, FLETCHER has teamed up with the likes of Aldae, Jon Bellion, Julia Michaels, Monsters & Strangerz, Michael Pollack and Grammy Award-winning producer/songwriter Jennifer Decilveo for what became the forthcoming 11-track album. In Search Of The Antidote includes the lead single “Eras Of Us”, as well as FLETCHER’s newest single “Lead Me On.”

Along with the announcement, the singer released the video for “Lead Me On,” directed by Alexandre Moors (Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé).

After taking a break last year to focus on her health, FLETCHER has a very busy year ahead. The singer has indeed performances plannned at Lollapalooza in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina in March, followed by some touring in Europe in the spring and in Australia and New Zealand in July.
