If you’re a fan of Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Eric Church, or Midland; then you’re sure to fall in love with Southern country rockers, The Rev. The Arizona band has just premiered their debut single and lyric video for “El Diablo”. The song brings elements of country, southern rock, a hint of alternative that is sure to get your boots stomping.

Vocalist Eric Meyers tells us, “We thought we should introduce ourselves to listeners with “El Diablo” because everything we do is rooted in country music. With El Diablo, we get right down in the swamp and conjure images of the archetype outlaw and the soundtrack to accompany it. Country and southern rock are in our DNA, so “El Diablo” came naturally. Those genres are the platform upon which The Rev builds out our sound. We were raised on it.”

Creating “El Diablo” Eric was intrigued by the idea of taking a previous era and re-creating it with a modern likability. It’s hard not to picture The South when listening to this track! Recording in Arizona certainly gave the track a whole new vibe.

The Rev is composed of Eric Meyers (vocalist), Frank Monaco (lead guitar), Josh Rozenboom (second lead guitar), John June (bass), Chris Chambers (drums), Mitchell Leonard (piano/keys).
