Dua Lipa Commands Mad Cool Fest 2024 Day 1

Dua Lipa left the Mad Cool Festival crowd wanting more after her showstopping performance.

The “Dance The Night” singer returned to the Madrilenian stage acting this time as the headliner for the first day of the seventh edition of the annual festival. The iconic pop, rock, indie, and electronic-based festival took place at the Iberdrola Music Venue, in the Villaverde District of Madrid, Spain on July 10 – 13.

Dua Lipa opened up her Mad Cool Festival set with her new hit, “Training Season.” She dazzled the crowd with her crew of background dancers paired with her impeccable stylish stage wear. The pop hitmaker played all of her fan favorites including, “Levitating,” “These Walls,” and “Be The One.”

Dua Lipa’s performance was one of the 23 performances that marked the return of the festival. 

With more than 55,000 attendees on the first of the four days, festivalgoers got a chance to enjoy an eclectic program of artists across 6 different stages. The lineup of the day also included performances by The Smashing Pumpkins, Janelle Monae, Sexyy Red, Nothing But Thieves, Soccer Mommy and Tom Odell.
