DNCE Returns With New Single ‘Dancing Feet’

By  |

It was the news we needed to kick off 2022 properly! DNCE, the dance-rock group lead by Joe Jonas, is coming BACK!

The news broke on social media today (Feb. 7) when the band released a caption-less new visual on their page, featuring the brand’s new logo.

« WE’RE BACK TO MAKE YOU MOVE » the band’s new bio on Instagram reads.

The band, formerly consisting of Jonas, drummer Jack Lawless, bassist and keyboardist Cole Whittle, and guitarist JinJoo Lee had entered an indefinite hiatus back in 2019, following the Jonas Brothers reunion.

Almost four years later, the band is making a comeback, with a little change in lineup for Whittle stepped away to focus on solo music.

DNCE will be kicking off 2022 with a brand new single, “Dancing Feet,“ a collaboration with EDM superproducer Kygo.

In an exclusive interview for Rolling Stones, Joe Jonas shared his excitement for their comeback single: “It’s really happy. It’s that feeling of not really giving a fuck and enjoying life to the fullest. I think what DNCE always did so well was bring joy to people, which is what I wanted to do with this new batch of music. Obviously it’s still very tricky times, but it reminds us all of being able to go out there and dance and enjoy life.”

The group signed with Republic Records and proceeded to release their smash hit single, “Cake by the Ocean”, in September 2015. The single was followed by a debut EP Swaay and a self-titled debut studio album in November 2016.
