CMA Spotlight: Rascal Flatts

By  |

The much awaited lineup for the CMA Music Festival was announced a couple of weeks ago and, as expected, it included some great acts. Lucky for us, one of those acts happened to be the one and only Rascal Flatts.

Rascal Flatts was formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 1999. The band is comprised of vocalist Gary LeVox, bassist Jay DeMarcus, and guitarist Joe Don Rooney. Since their formation, they have released 8 studio albums and have had 12 number one U.S. Country singles, their first being “These Days” in 2002. They plan to release their 9th studio album, Rewind, in mid-May.

Rascal Flatts has performed at the CMA Festival twice previously, once in 2011 and again in 2012. This year, they will be performing Thursday, June 5th on the LP Field.
