Charli Xcx ‘Von Dutch’ Wins 2025 Grammy For Best Dance Pop Recording
The 2025 Grammy for Best Dance Pop Recording goes to… Charli Xcx for “Von Dutch.”
The 2025 Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles, California with the telecast taking place at Crypto.com Arena. Meanwhile, the premiere ceremony took place at the Peacock Theater, where the majority of awards are given out.
The Best Dance Pop Recording category is for solo, duo, group, or collaborative performances. Producers and mixers for the songs receive this award. Charli’s creative team were on hand to accept the award and thanked Charli, Atlantic Records, and more. Last year, Kylie Minogue won this category for “Padam Padam” and took home her first every Grammy.
Charli XCX is nominated in six categories this year for her music from Brat. Fellow nominee Troye Sivan recently completed their Brat North American Tour with Charli. Last year, Madison Beer received her first ever Grammy nomination for Best Immersive Audio Album for Silence Between Songs.
Despite the recent wildfires, the show will proceed as planned, with a renewed focus on supporting relief efforts. In response to the recent devastation, The Recording Academy has refocused its aim to support relief efforts following the devastating Los Angeles-area wildfires. The ceremony will feature special tributes to honor the resilience of the Los Angeles community and the bravery of first responders. Additionally, the Recording Academy has condensed its pre-Grammy events, incorporating fundraising elements to further support those affected by the fires.
