All the MAJOR Marvel Announcements at Comic Con 2019
Marvel has planned SEVEN films in one year! San Diego Comic-Con Day 3 on Saturday, July 20 proved to be an epic day for Marvel fans. The announcements of several new films at Hall H inside the convention. Just Marvel Studios’ THE ETERNALS will star Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, and Don Lee and directed by Chloé Zhao. In theaters November 6, 2020.
“I’m going to work 10 times harder because what it means to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, part of this family, we know what the task ahead is, what you all deserve and we’re all gonna work very hard” Angelina Jolie told the San Diego Comic-Con crowd. Jolie will be taking the role of Thena in the film.
Fall 2020 will bring The Falcon and The Winter Soldier to Disney+.
Avengers Endgame officially passed Avatar as the top-grossing film of all time. The announcement was made during the Comic-Con panel by Marvel boss Kevin Feige.
Marvel Studios’ SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS will star Simu Liu, Awkwafina and Tony Leung. The film will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. Coming to theaters February 12, 2021.
WANDAVISION is debuting Spring 2021 on Disney+. It will be an original series with Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany and Teyonah Parris.

DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS will debut in theaters May 7, 2021. The film will star Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen. Scott Derrickson returns as director.
WHAT IF…?, the first animated series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Cast includes Jeffrey Wright as the voice of The Watcher and many actors from across the MCU reprising their roles as voice talent. Streaming exclusively on Disney+ in Summer 2021.
Marvel Studios announced, HAWKEYE, during Comic-Con on Saturday, July 20. The television show will star Jeremy Renner. It is an original series that will also introduce Kate Bishop. The series will be streaming exclusively on Disney+, Fall 2021.
THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER will star Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman. Taika Waititi will return as director. Hitting theaters on November 5, 2021.
BLACK WIDOW with Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz. The film will be directed by Cate Shortland. Coming to theaters May 1, 2020.
