Olivia Rodrigo Announces All-Women Music Festival, Daisy Chain Fields
Olivia Rodrigo has announced the launch of Daisy Chain Fields, her very own all-women music festival profiting women-empowering nonprofit organizations.
The inaugural edition of the festival, which will take place in Irvine, CA on August 29, features a lineup of only female artists or female-fronted bands (see full lineup below), who have all agreed not to take a profit from their performances.
Rodrigo indeed announed that 100% of the net profits from ticket sales will directed toward a dozen of nonprofit organizations dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.
“Daisy Chain Fields is built on the belief that joy, community and creativity can inspire meaningful change,” Rodrigo said in a statement. “I’m so excited to celebrate this incredible lineup of women, and I’m grateful to all of our partners in helping us make this festival come to life. By bringing together women in music and organizations helping shape a better future for women and girls, I hope we can build a community that inspires hope and positive change.”
The ticket presale for the festival starts on June 24 at 10 a.m. PST HERE, and information about the presale is already available on the Daisy Chain Fiels’s official Instagram page.
