ALBUM REVIEW | Olly – TUTTA VITA (SEMPRE)
“Tutta vita (Sempre)” is Olly’s third studio album. Born Federico Olivieri in Genoa in 2001, Olly has quickly emerged as one of Italy’s most compelling young voices. Blending pop, hip hop, and R&B with lyrics that mix together intimacy and generational storytelling, he has created his own space in the Italian music scene.
After breaking through with Sanremo Giovani in 2022 and competing at the Festival di Sanremo 2023 with “Polvere” (Dust), Olly reached a defining milestone in 2025, taking home the Sanremo crown with the powerful and heartbreaking hit “Balorda nostalgia.”
That winning anthem was the first single out of “Tutta vita (Sempre),” – Everything is life (Always) – the deluxe edition of his 2024 breakthrough album “Tutta vita” – Everything is life – released via Epic Records and Sony Music Italy and created alongside longtime collaborator and producer JVLI.
It shot straight to #1 on the FIMI album charts and quickly earned a quadruple platinum certification. Standout singles such as the heartbreaking ballad “Devastante” and the chart-topping duet “Per due come noi” with Angelina Mango (now certified double platinum) confirmed its success.
Tutta vita (Sempre) is more than just a deluxe edition — it’s a motto for the singer-songwriter and a statement of growth and artistic evolution.
With its mix of heartfelt honesty, irresistible hooks, and sharp production, the record highlighted Olly’s ability to move effortlessly between soaring anthems and introspective ballads. The album mixes a shade of the Italian songwriting tradition while embracing a modern pop genre. What sets Olly apart is his refusal to lean into the extremes, he writes with sincerity, telling stories not only of his own experiences but of an entire generation.
After playing at the Ippodromo Snai La Maura in Milan in front of 60.000 people, he’s ready to start his sold-out “TUTTA VITA TOUR” across arenas all aroudn Italy for the first time in 2025 and 2026.
Blending resilience, humor, heartbreak, and joy, the album serves as both a reflection of a generation and a bold step forward for Italian pop. In Olly’s words, and in his music — it’s truly tutta vita.
