Jonas Brothers Perform ‘Beautiful Soul’ With Jesse McCartney: Watch

Jonas Brothers threw it back to their days of opening up for Jesse McCartney with a surprise collaboration.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick kicked off their 20th anniversary Greetings From Your Hometown Tour on Sunday, August 10. The trio performed at MetLife Stadium and promised the fans that there would be numerous surprise guests during the evening. The brothers definitely delivered on their promise.

The brothers took time to speak about the days of when they were performing at schools and trying to get on tours as a supporting act with bands. They mentioned that Jesse McCartney graciously took them out on the road.

The audience evoked a high pitched scream when Joe asked for Jesse to come onto the stage. Jesse donned a brown western suit and wooed the crowd before launching into “Beautiful Soul.” Joe took some of the solo parts with Jesse or alongside him.

The Jo Bros and Jesse McCartney go back to their Disney days. Jesse regularly performed as a guest on Disney Channel shows and alongside fellow Disney tween stars over the years. The brothers and Jesse were both regularly featured on Radio Disney and seen together at events.

Jonas Brothers opened a number of shows for Jesse. On April 13, 2007, the brothers performed at Mizner Park Amphitheater as Jesse’s official opening act in Boca Raton, Fla. Social media users uploaded several videos of one of their shows at a local House of Blues venue as well. During the early days of their career, they collaborated with one another on stage or at radio events.
