Drew Green Marks Career Milestone with Debut Album, What You’re Looking For- Avaliable Today
Rising country artist Drew Green has officially hit another career milestone with the release of his debut album What You’re Looking For, out today on all digital streaming platforms. The 18-track project offers a dynamic mix of swagger and sincerity, showcasing Green’s versatility as both a performer and songwriter.
From the confident, swagger-filled focus track “Lie Together” to the stripped-down vulnerability of his latest single “Ammo,” the album captures every side of Green’s artistry. The record also boasts high-profile collaborations, including a feature with HARDY on “Colorado” and a guest spot from 501 Bryze on “Back On It.”
With more than 400 million career streams to his name, Green has already built an impressive foundation in country music. But What You’re Looking For represents a defining chapter — a collection that ties together his roots, grit, and growth.
“This album feels like the story I’ve been waiting to tell,” Green shares. “From writing songs in college to chasing it every night at Tootsie’s, I’ve dreamed of a project that shows every side of me — the highs, the heartbreak, and the grit it takes to keep going.”
A Full-Circle Moment at the Grand Ole Opry
To mark the release, Green will step onto one of country music’s most legendary stages. On September 27, he will make his official Grand Ole Opry debut, adding another bucket-list accomplishment to his career.
The night also carries deeper meaning for Green in light of the recent passing of GRAMMY Award-winning songwriter Brett James, a figure instrumental in his early journey.
“I’m incredibly excited to be releasing my debut album and making my Opry debut,” Green says. “But given Brett’s passing last week, the release and the debut at such an iconic venue has taken on a whole new meaning. Brett gave me my first deal in town. He was one of the first people to believe in me. My hope is that, in some small way, this album and the Opry debut honor him and the incredible mark he made on our industry.”
With What You’re Looking For, Drew Green isn’t just putting out a debut album — he’s cementing his voice in today’s country scene while honoring the path that brought him here.
