CMA Global Country Artist award-winner Kaylee Bell has officially released her new album, Cowboy Up, a bold and heartfelt collection that marks her most authentic work yet. The project is a vibrant mix of feel-good anthems, heartfelt ballads, and fearless storytelling, capturing every side of love—from the rush of a new spark to the sting of disappointment, and the joy of stepping into motherhood. It is Kaylee Bell at her most grounded, yet wide open.

“This record is the most ‘me’ I’ve ever sounded,” says Bell. “Cowboy Up is a reflection of where I’ve been, who I am now, and where I’m going. It’s about strength, identity, and finding your voice in all the messy, beautiful parts of life.”

The album features already-released favorites “Red Dirt Romeo,” “Ring On It,” and the bold title track “Cowboy Up,” a no-nonsense anthem about reaching a crossroads in a relationship where it’s time for someone to step up or step aside. After Bell teased the song on TikTok, it pulled in over a million views before it was even released. 

Another standout is “Song for Shania,” a heartfelt nod to Bell’s biggest musical influence, Shania Twain. The song serves as a love letter to the trailblazer who showed a small-town Kiwi girl that dreaming big was possible, with Bell singing, “I used to play her CDs, swearing that’d be me, hoping one day I’d be just like Shania,” turning admiration into a personal anthem.

The album also features “Heartbeat,” the most personal song Bell has ever written, inspired by the moment she discovered she was pregnant, and her take on Natalie Imbruglia’s 90s classic “Torn,” which quickly became a crowd favorite during her CMC Rocks Australia debut earlier this year.

With its blend of vulnerability, strength, and signature storytelling, Cowboy Up cements Kaylee Bell’s place as one of today’s most dynamic country artists. This November, Bell will bring the album to life on her biggest New Zealand headline tour yet, delivering a fresh, elevated live show packed with new music and fan favorites in iconic venues across the country.
