Dollywood’s New Attraction Nightflight Expedition Unveiled at 2025 IAAPA Expo: WATCH

Dollywood and Mack Rides unveiled the newest attraction – Nightflight Expedition!

The press conference took place at the 2025 IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Fla. at the Orange County Convention Center. The crowd piled in to get a look at the new ride vehicle for the upcoming thrilling attraction.

According to Dollywood’s website, the story expands upon the theme park’s Wildwood Grove. The ride system is a hybrid coaster and whitewater river ride. The original characters of Cora and Jasper Oakley lead riders on a journey to uncover the mystery of Secret Lake.

Riders will experience the Smokies, raging rapids, mountain peaks, and glide across a shimmering lake.

Dollywood’s IAAPA Legendary Status

On November 17, 2025, Dolly Parton was inducted as an IAAPA Legend. Unfortunately, the country superstar did not attend the gala in person, but sent a video accepting the honor.

Other inductees this year included Keith James, Gerardo Arteaga Oehninger, Gary S. Wachs, and Su Zhigang.
