Mad Cool Festival 2026 Announces Star-Packed Lineup For Its 10th Anniversary
Mad Cool Music Festival will be celebrating 10 years of fun in the Madrid sun in 2026, and they’ve prepared a full star-packed lineup for their 10th anniversary!!
The Spanish festival will celebrate its tenth anniversary from 8 to 11 July 2026 at the Iberdrola Music venue in Villaverde, Madrid, Spain.
This new edition, which promises to keep cementing the festival as an essential stop on the national and international music festival circuit, features headliners from all genres of music, including the Foo Fighters, Lorde, Halsey, Twenty One Pilots, Florence + The Machine and much more!

WEDNESDAY, JULY 8
Foo Fighters are the first headliners of this juggernaut tenth edition. The band’s loyal fanbase have eagerly awaited their return to Madrid and their performance on Wednesday 8th July promises to be a highlight of the festival and a rival for anything that has already been. The show will blend their greatest hits with tracks from their latest album and it will be the only chance to see them in Spain in 2026, as part of their global Take Over Tour.
Another major surprise for the opening day comes from Moby, the legendary composer, producer and DJ behind classics such as Porcelain and The Last Daywho after years away will return to Madrid for an unforgettable live show. Wolf Alice will also be returning to the festival performing tracks from their Mercury Prize nominated new album The Clearing.
The War On Drugs are the final headliner for the first day offering an immersive and atmospheric live show filled with guitars, synthesisers alongside Adam Granduciel’s devastating lyrics, making them one of the festival’s must-see sets.
Another highlight on the Wednesday comes from The Last Dinner Party, who will be making their Mad Cool debut, bringing their theatrical rock, glam and baroque pop sound to Madrid, fusing sharp lyrics with striking percussion and electric guitars. The first day will also feature not-to-be-missed performances from The Warning, Jehnny Beth, The War and Treaty, Palaye Royale, Dogstar, Hot Milk, Villanelle, Hotwax, MadMadMad and Bigger Splash.
THURSDAY, JULY 9
Thursday 9th July, sees the awaited return of Florence + The Machine, whose set at the festival will appear in support of her chart topping new album Everybody Scream. Florence + The Machine always delivers a spellinbing performance, with Welch’s powerful vocals and wild transcendent energy. That same day, Lorde makes her Madrid debut, promising to light up the stage with her signature synth-pop sound. The New Zealand artist’s fourth album Virginhas been one of 2025’s most celebrated albums and her Mad Cool Festival performance will be one for the ages.
Elsewhere, the second day bursts with energy and youth! Jennie, the South Korean artist and solo project from one of Blackpink, will deliver a dynamic show blending R&B, Hip-Hop and K-Pop. Teddy Swims, the powerful-voiced American singer-songwriter behind hits like Lose Control, will also be a highlight. Zara Larsson will thrill the crowd with her unstoppable energy and hit-filled show, while Charlie Puth’s melodic tones will captivate audiences. Renée Rapp will make her Madrid debut showcasing her commanding stage presence and powerful vocals. The Blaze will bring an electrifying DJ set and CMAT’s witty country-pop will surely deliver one of the day’s most joyous sets. Also appearing are Sadie Jean, Son Mieux, Zimmer90, Chloe Slater, and more.
FRIDAY, JULY 10
On Friday 10th July, Mad Cool Festival fulfils one of its most requested wishes by confirming Twenty One Pilots. The Grammy-winning duo, led by Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, promise an explosive live show combining pop, rock and hip-hop with powerful visuals. Kings of Leon also make their return to Madrid, honouring a promise to fans. The Followill brothers will bring anthems Sex on Fire and Use Somebody to life once again on the Mad Cool stage.
Pixies will celebrate their 40th anniversary at the festival, performing timeless tracks like Where Is My Mind, Here Comes Your Man and Hey — songs that shaped rock history. That same day, Halsey will take the stage with an intense, visually striking show exploring themes of mental health and human rights through music and theatre. A Perfect Circle will appear as part of their European tour, joined by acts such as Sigrid, Interpol, Holly Humberstone, and Midnight Generation. Additional performances include Cliffords, Usted Señalemelo, Karen Dio, Rio Kosta, and My First Time.
SATURDAY, JULY 11
Every great celebration deserves a grand finale.
On Saturday 11th July, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will close the tenth anniversary edition. Charismatic and multifaceted, Cave’s stage prowess is unmatched, demanding a profound connection with the audience, a performance for the Mad Cool history books.
Iconic Britpop legends PULP, fronted by Jarvis Cocker, will be returning to Madrid after more than three decades away, the performance on the final day will showcase their latest release More, alongside beloved hits Common People and Disco 2000.
David Byrne, founder of Talking Heads, will perform his newly released album Who is the Sky? alongside his generational classics, Byrne’s show blends choreography, theatre and emotion in a truly immersive spectacle. The Black Crowes will round off the night with their bluesy Southern rock and the unmistakable voice of Chris Robinson. The day’s line-up also features Kasabian, Jalen Ngonda, The Vaccines, Matt Berninger, Persia Holder, Overpass, TSSFU, and Supermodel*.
From 9th to 11th July, electronic music lovers will have their own space, featuring world-class DJs and artists like Richie Hawtin, Boys Noize, Polo & Pan, Nina Kraviz, Swimming Paul, Weval, Palms Trax and Bunt.
As always, Mad Cool Festival showcases the best Spanish talent. In 2026, audiences will enjoy established acts such as LA PALOMA, alongside innovative projects like Hoonine, and rising electronic artists Aerea, Young Prado and Luxi Villar. The line-up will also feature the future winners of Mad Cool Talent and Mad Cool DJ Talent by Vibra Mahou.
This tenth edition reaffirms Mad Cool Festival’s status as a key cultural and social landmark for both Madrid and Spain. Beyond celebrating music, Mad Cool continues to shape the future of culture, establishing itself as a European creative hub that attracts quality tourism and generates cultural value.
Mad Cool 2026 will be a more intimate and exclusive experience, redesigned to prioritise fan comfort and wellbeing. The festival will once again take place at Iberdrola Music in Villaverde, Madrid, which has been Mad Cool’s home since 2023. With its extensive capacity, infrastructure and accessibility, the venue ensures a safe and comfortable environment for thousands of attendees, maintaining the high production standards that define Mad Cool.
