Walker Stalker Convention Recap!
We just got back from an incredible weekend at the Walker Stalker Convention in Chicago, IL. We had no idea what to expect walking into this, our staff member Mary got scared by multiple zombies and a python! Luckily I was safe and didn’t get scared once, whew!
We arrived Friday with a full day ahead doing interviews and videos with some of your favorite stars from The Walking Dead, Lost, Arrow, Game of Thrones, Under the Dome, Comic Book Men, The Tomorrow People, and more! That night Emily Kinney (Beth from The Walking Dead) brought down the house with her concert. Saturday night we had a zombie bash with a bar, DJ, dancing, costumes, and more.
We checked out all the vendors and met some incredible creatures (turtles, snakes, lizards, oh my!) as well as making new friends with the dead. The coolest creature we met was a zombie cupcake, yes you read that right a zombie cupcake! We saw Jason walking around, werewolves, zombies, dead Abraham Lincoln, and some crazy fans.
The panels were phenomenal, our favorite panel was with IronE Singleton a.k.a. “T-Dog” from The Walking Dead. He rapped for us, a ballet performance, and had everyone laughing the entire time! Arrow’s panel had the convention center overflowing with people!
