I’m seriously shocked at the feedback from my first blog! I really wish someone made this when I volunteered so I figure I’d add more information that I have. I have a few friends below that are sponsor and tour managers so make sure you do a great job for them! I’ll be at the Midwest shows and maybe a couple east coast ones too so (tweet me) and come say hi! I’ll be working with a few friends and for Press, Tess Dunn, The Cleopatra Complex and Z!ng mostly!
Feed Our Children Now
If you are interested in volunteering with Feed Our Children NOW! email us at Volunteers@FeedOurChildrenNOW.org with the information listed below to help us get to know our volunteers better.
Subject line: Full Name, Date and City that you wish to volunteer with us in.
Body of Email: Please include your full name, age, date and city that you wish to volunteer, where you live year round, and why you will make a great Feed Our Children NOW! volunteer!
We ask that all of our volunteers have reliable transportation and can commit to volunteering with us from about 8:30am until either 11:00am OR 3:00pm (your choice). At this time, we are encouraging all of our volunteers to purchase tickets.
Over the last few months we have been working with a promo team to have events all over the country, year round. If you would like to be apart of the Feed Our Children NOW! Promo Team, please include that in your reply and we can help you get started!
In addition to promoting the fact that Action Item is going to be on Warped Tour, were going to also be promoting AT Warped Tour itself. Part two of Warped Promo efforts consists of handing out promo cards at warped tour promoting where and what time Action Item will be playing and encouraging people to check out their set. More information will come shortly in terms of where to go to get promo cards and anything else you might need to know while at Warped. If you’re going to Warped Tour and would like to help hand out promo cards, email firstname.lastname@example.org with your first and last names, twitter name, as well as which Warped date/or dates you are attending that you’d like to help out at.
To thank you for your hard work there will be some great incentives, which will be announced shortly! In the mean time, remember to take pictures of yourself promoting and handing out fliers and then send them to me as this will be your proof that you helped out!
Again, if you want to be a part of the street team, please email me at email@example.com. If you have any questions you can email me there, or tweet me on the site twitter @aionline or my personal twitter @itsstephumz! Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all!! Let’s have some fun!
Warped Eco Initiative
(Form will be posted on May 24th on the link below)
Warped Reporter Volunteer is now CLOSED!
For most record labels you go through their street teams!
Basically, you’d come before doors open, help me set up, distribute flyers, sell shit throughout the day, hold the tent down when I need to grab lunch and dinner, and help me break down and pack up at the end of the day. It doesn’t have to be that much work, and we can have a lot of fun. I need driven, motivated people that are gonna go out there with a good attitude and sell shit, not mope in the tent all day or disappear into the sea of burnt flesh and circlepits.
If you’re interested, shoot me an e-mail at sean (at) bridge9 dot com with the following information-
1) Your first and last name
2) Your e-mail address (this gets entertaining)
3) Your cellphone number (this is incredibly important, day-of)
4) A fun fact about you
5) Why you’d be a good volunteer-of-the-day for Bridge 9 (doesn’t have to be an essay)
Please DO NOT send me your resumes (that’s actually happened).
Set It Off
Shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and make the subject of the email the date and location you’d like to volunteer at. (I won’t read it if it’s not!)
Ex – “June 27 – Mesa, AZ”
Also include your full name, and mailing address in the email so we can send you promo!
Look forward to hearing from you!
