The American Country Countdown Awards took place on Monday night and I know all of you were keeping up with the Stage Right Secrets twitter account to know what was happening on the red carpet, but now we’re taking a moment to step back and look at the top 8 best dressed artists of the 2015 ACCA’s.
My first shout out goes to the lovely Carrie Underwood who wore a beautiful white dress that showed off her baby bump. The dress was selected by designer Trish Townshed and it was a great selection indeed. I love the one sleeve dress and my favorite part is the gold embroidery on her wrist, waist, and shoulder.
Another dazzling white ensemble was worn by Cassadee Pope. Cassadee looked so gorgeous accessorizing with a white fur stole and a red handbag. Also, did you see the earrings that girl was wearing?? Miss Pope definitely stunned on the carpet.
We have to put heartthrob Chase Rice on this list even though he would look great wearing anything. Chase wore a simple outfit of dark jeans with a white shirt and coat, and he looked amazing. Even if next year he wore a bunny suit to the show he would still be one of the best looking guys on that carpet!
Dustin Lynch was a real cowboy this year at the awards showing up wearing a cowboy hat and a shiny black suit coat. The goofball was actually a huge sweet heart when he met star Reba and gave her a bouquet of red roses.
One of my favorite dresses of the night was worn by Miss America 2015 Kira Kazantsev. I’m always a fan of short dresses with long sleaves, and this one was gorgeous. The embroidery was so detailed and reminded me of a chandelier (not to swing from). Kira is so beautiful and the dress fit her perfectly!
Miranda Lambert had 3 amazing outfits on Monday night and I can’t choose which one was my favorite. For her tribute to Reba, her short black fringe dress wowed the crowd and was very playful. Her performance outfit was bright and shiny, but those earrings are what sold me. Huge silver triangle earrings dangled from her ears and it really added attitude to the outfit. But of course her beautiful long black dress for the red carpet was stunning. I love the mesh top and the cool angles and designs.
Looking classy with a dark suit was Scotty McCreery, but what I thought made the outfit pop was the belt buckle he chose to wear. Obvious choice for a Country Music event! Scotty revealed that he is working on his third studio album, so keep your ears out for a new single!
And last but definitely not least is the star of the night, Reba McEntire. Reba took home the Nash Icon Award as one of the most successful artists in country music history. She wore a simple but beautiful low cut black dress but spiced things up by throwing in a leather jacket. Keeping it classy and simple is perfect for this superstar.
