By  |

The Grammy’s are like the pinnacle of all music award shows. Everything is bigger and better here. Getting a Grammy means you have made it in music and you’re a force to be reckoned with. Since the 2015 Grammy’s will soon be upon us, we at SRS have decided to celebrate some of the best performances over the past 5 years.

5. 2011 – Lady Gaga: “Born This Way”

How could we forget this performance? Lady Gaga brought the weird, like she always does. But she absolutely killed the performance by showing off her vocal talents and musical abilitites.

4. 2012 – Adele: “Rolling In The Deep”

What happened to Adele? Either way this performance had me dancing on my couch. Adele absolutely slayed the 2012 Grammy Awards and became one of the biggest household names in music.

3. 2014 Taylor Swift: “All To Well”

I know 2014 has been the year of Taylor Swift. We can not stop talking about her, personally I’m absolutely ok with that. But who could forget one of her iconic performances on an award show? The headbanging, oh the headbanging!

2. 2014 – Beyonce ft. Jay-Z: “Drunk In Love”

It was definitely one of the sexiest things I’ve seen on TV in a while and I LOVED every second of it. While this was the first performance of the night, I definitely would have appreciated it if it was later. Made everyone who performed afterwards kind of, how do you say it? Irrelevant…

1. 2010 – Pink: “Glitter In The Air”

If this performance didn’t make you feel anything in your heart then you are not a person and you need to just leave this post right now. I cried, that’s right, I cried. It was beautiful, amazing and ascetically pleasing. This is a performance no one will soon forget.

Well that’s all I have for now. We’re definitely counting down the days till the next Grammy award here in 2015!
