Live Performance Reviews

Taylor Swift Releases Acoustic Version of “Blank Space”

By  |

What’s better than Taylor Swift performing one of her songs live? Giving a beautiful rendition of the song on an acoustic guitar! Back in September, Swift spent time celebrating the success of her GRAMMY Museum exhibit by saying farewell in an intimate concert. It was just Swift and her instruments, no one else. These songs aren’t normally performed this way, so it’s a refreshing take on some of her most beloved songs off 1989.

Here is her latest release of “Blank Space.” The videos were originally released on the GRAMMY Pro website, but are now being uploaded to Swift’s official youtube channel one by one!

When talking about the inspiration for “Blank Space” she told the intimate audience

“She jet sets around the world, collecting men and then… and she can get any of them but she’s so clingy that they leave and she cries and then she gets another one in her web and she traps them and locks them in her mansion and then she’s crying in her marble bathtub surrounded by pearls…. so I was like… ‘I can use this!’”
