Many have been anticipating a collaboration between these two musicians for years now and they have finally delivered with the song “Bad Idea“. The track starts upbeat and fun; as the song progresses, Sara and Jason begin to unravel the contrast of the lyrics with the musicality. It is interesting to see a song with a meaning of infidelity portrayed in such a light and lively way. Songs of this topic are becoming more and more popular just take a listen to Charlie Puth‘s “I Won’t Tell A Soul” or Jason Derulo‘s “Love Like That” featuring K. Michelle. The difference between these two examples and “Bad Idea” is the vibe they have.It’s pleasant to see how Sara Bareilles and Jason Mraz combined their talent and sound to deliver this track.
