Nick Jonas & Tinashe Drop Out Of Iggy Azalea’s Rescheduled Tour

By  |

Sad news for every Iggy Azalea/Nick Jonas/Tinashe fans that were expecting to see the three on tour in a few weeks!

Indeed, it was just announced today by Azalea’s team at Def Jam Recordings that the ‘Great Escape Tour‘ would not be ready on time, and would be rescheduled “to accommodate for creative team availability and tour production plans.” In the official statement, the team continues by saying that “it is extremely important to Iggy that she delivers the show she envisaged to share with her fans and that requires more time in development.”

So what does this mean for the tour, that was set to kick off in April? Well, mainly two things. First of all, the tour will not be actually cancelled as rumored, but only rescheduled, as Azalea’s team pointed out on Twitter.

However, Azalea will have to find new opening acts for the scheduled ones, Nick Jonas and Tinashe, had to drop out, due to prior engagements during the rescheduled dates.

The Great Escape tour has been rescheduled to this fall, kicking off on September 18 in San Diego, Calif.
