New Music Friday 10/18

By  |

Happy Friday, everyone! This week’s roundup of the latest and greatest comes with a
little bit of country, a little rock n’ roll and everything in between. Check out our picks for what your ears need to hear and let us know what we’re missin’!

Cole Swindell – “No One Rocks Mine”

Catchy might be Cole Swindell’s middle name. In his final release from his new EP
Down Home Session V he cleverly captures the longing of love from different area codes. We know he’s not singing to us, but if he was, we’d be doing everything we could to stay close.

Electric Guest – Kin

Electric Guest has been blowing up recently and for good reason. Their third album
captures an alternative electronic beat that is SO catchy with an R&B twist.

Jenna Paulette – “Blue Jeans” Music Video

The modern cowgirl herself is serving up real dirt road Texas vibes in her new video.
Always true to her aesthetic, this video is a pleasing visual of lost love and western living. Not to mention the song behind it is proving her to be one of the top rising females in country music – the lyrics, the voice. If you haven’t already get on board the Jenna train.

Alter Bridge – Walk The Sky

With their sixth-studio release, rock band Alter Bridge is bringing their unique sound to fans of the genre. Paying homage to the hard rock of the past mixed with modern tones, it’s hard to beat this album. Rock lovers everywhere tune your ears in here.

Becky G – Mala Santa

It’s been a while since we have raved about Becky G so here’s our long overdue message. Listen to this album! The young Latin singer is finally having her full-album moment and we are here for it. Give it a listen and let us know what you’re thinking!

Florida Georgia Line – The Acoustic Sessions

FGL is back with an acoustic album featuring all of their biggest hits that refreshes each
song in a unique and new way. It’s not often we get to hear these guys so stripped down and truthfully, we might like it better than the original.
