Maroon 5 Debuts ‘Memories’ Live On ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ and Adam Levine Speaks About Why He Left ‘The Voice’

Maroon 5 gave their debut performance of “Memories” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, October 7. Lead singer, Adam Levine, also sat down with DeGeneres to speak about his personal life and new music.

During the interview, Levine showed off his new mohawk. Ellen also revealed that Adam is partially responsible for her marriage to Portia and how he recently convinced her to buy his previous house. Adam also spoke about his decision to leave NBC’s The Voice after 10 seasons. He also spoke about the loss of his close friend and manager and how that influenced the band’s new single.

Adam admits to Ellen, his 3-year-old daughter, Dusty Rose, who doesn’t like it when he sings to her but shares his one-year-old daughter, Gio, loves music. The singer also talks about performing at Adam Sandler’s daughter’s Bat Mitzvah for free and announces Maroon 5 is going back on tour!
