Lights Debuts ‘Running with the Boys’ Video + Headlining 2015 Tour & Coachella

By  |
Canada’s acclaimed pop multi-instrumentalist Lights has debuted a nostalgic new video for ‘Running With the Boys.’
The track is taken from her latest album, Little Machines, which is nominated for ‘Pop Album of the Year’ at this year’s Juno Awards.

Lights is currently on a sold-out European tour, and will return to the states for a headlining tour starting February 14th in Minneapolis, supported by X-Ambassadors. Tickets are on-sale at IAmLights.com. Please see below for all dates.
She has also announced that she will be performing at Coachella 2015. Ryan Seacrest included Lights in his ’10 Artists You Must See at Coachella,’ saying “Lights has a knack for creating celestial beats by combining alternative rock and contemporary synth-pop.”

Lights has been perfecting her own unique brand of synth pop since she was 14. With a couple of Junos and Gold records under her belt, she’s amassed a dedicated ‘Lights Army’ over the years (1.3 million Facebook fans, over half a million Twitter fans), including self-professed fans Miley Cyrus, John Mayer, and K’Naan among others. She’s also collaborated with Kaskade and Deadmau5.

Little Machines was produced and engineered by Drew Pearson, with key songs/singles mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent (Madonna, U2, Beyonce). The anthemic single, “Up We Go,” deemed “perhaps [Lights’] biggest banger to date,” by Noisey, follows intro track ‘Portal,’ which Refinery29 called “the wanderlust song of the summer.”
