Kelleigh Bannen: What Really Happens in Nashville/The Music Biz.

By  |

Like me, you may have grown accustomed to watching TV Shows like Nashville or Grey’s Anatomy on a weekly basis. Heck you might have just recently discovered one or the other and binged watched all the seasons on Netflix. The thing about Television is, they don’t always get it right. Sometimes they do things differently to get good ratings, or because they just don’t know any better.

Sure there’s suppose to be a team of people that help them make things more realistic, but there are just some things that are still inaccurate. As a Nurse, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched shows like Grey’s Anatomy or House and thought, wait that’s wrong.

Thus brings us to the show Nashville. Set in the town it’s named after, it follows the stories of many Artists, upcoming and seasoned. Heck, even established artists make cameos in it! That doesn’t mean everything portrayed in the show is accurate.

UMG Nashville Recording Artist, Kelleigh Bannen offers her insight into what’s accurate and what maybe isn’t quite really how it is! Check out her recap of the First episode of the season and check back as she releases the following weeks!

Bannen is not afraid about getting real either. She wrote in a note announcing her website: “Time to let y’all in on the big secret. Today I am thrilled to announce my blog {http://thisnashvillelife.com/} which chronicles the adventures of a country singer and everything that goes with it. The victories and the heartbreaks– great and small. The good, the bad, and the beautiful. I will do my best to share my heart with you and be honest about what it’s really like to try and break in this industry. And of course there will be lots of fashion, beauty, and insider info. In this moment, my heart is filled with much love and thankfulness for the support you’ve already given me in this journey. And now I’m thrilled to welcome you to http://thisnashvillelife.com/

She shared some of her heartbreak by sharing a video of the aftermath of her Brother’s death and how addiction is not something that should be taken lightly. Needless to say this blog has already made us laugh and cry!
