Keith Urban Surprises Hospital Patients for Musicians On Call’s 10th Anniversary!

Musicians On Call (MOC) is celebrating its 10 year anniversary in Nashville, TN. MOC is a nonprofit organization that brings music to the bedsides of hospital patients. Keith Urban kicked off the anniversary with a surprise visit to The Children’s Hospital at Tristar Centennial. The young fans got to hear some of Urban’s hits like “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” “You Look Good In My Shirt,” and “Wasted Time.”

Keith said of the event, The power of music to not only connect people, but to bring comfort into someone’s life is something quite divine. Visiting with these kids and their families yesterday was truly inspiring, as was the chance to play for them and bring a little light to their day, even if for a few moments. I’m very grateful to Musicians On Call for the good work they do and honored to be a small part of that.”

MOC’s Bedside Performance Program has brought volunteer musicians to over half a million patients and caregivers to enjoy the healing power of music.
