Keith Urban is getting ready to embark on his Graffiti U World Tour, also the name of his ninth studio album coming out later this year. In January, Urban played a free pop-up show in Nashville to announce the tour and his opening act Kelsea Ballerini. But it turns out, Ballerini won’t be the only one embarking on this adventure with the Aussie rocker. Today, February 12, the country superstar announced Lindsay Ell as the opener for all Canadian dates and Rogers, Arkansas.
It’s rather fitting for Ell to open for Urban in Canada. Not only is Canada her homeland But Ell has always looked up to Urban as an artist and guitar player. “It’s not very often you get to share the stage with an artist you’ve looked up to since the beginning of your career,” said Ell, whose recent album The Project debuted at No. 1 on the Country Album Sales Chart. “I am SO excited to be touring with Keith Urban and can’t wait to play for fans in the venues I grew up in!”
Ell has taken the country music by storm, and we can guarantee that this tour will only better her career and take her on a path she never thought she’d go down. We can’t wait to see the two guitar masters at work on the same stage.
