Jon Walker releases Real Life EP

By  |

If you’re still recovering from the chaos known as the “MTV Video Music Awards 2015” you might have missed the new EP put out by singer/songwriter Jon Walker.  Real Life EP was released just a few days ago on Jon’s bandcamp.  This new conglomerate of songs is an acoustic warm goodness that is perfect for a chill night at home snuggling up with bae (AKA your pet).

The four track EP consists of:

  1. Real Life – A song dedicated to his young daughter as a sort of memory of him through song.
  2. Memories – Is it too bold to say that it’s very John Lennon-esque? Listen for yourself!
  3. Growing Easy – My future retirement song.
  4. Enjoy the Days – An overall good feeling song letting you appreciate the joys you have in life.

You may remember Jon Walker from the We Carol Lot Downwrite holiday show this past Christmas where we caught some performances and even got to sit down with Jon and ask him a few questions!  If you missed that opportunity you can see the performance HERE and the interviews HERE.

Jon Walker has released 5 sets of music as a solo artist including Home Recordings EP, New Songs LP, Crazy Dream EP, Connections LP, and now Real Life EP.  Judging by that pattern, we should be receiving a whole album next and we can’t wait!

As I said before, Jon Walker has all of his music available on his Bandcamp which can be downloaded for free, but if you can help an artist out and buy his music, he may be able to tour to your home town!  This EP was released at a perfect time as the weather is starting to grow colder and school is starting up, you’re going to need some relaxing acoustic music to keep your head straight.  Make sure to check out Real Life EP available now!
