Gone West debuted the timeless new music video for “I’m Never Getting Over You.”

“This is one of our favorites tracks from Canyons,” the band said in a statement. “The music we made together has meant so much to us, we wanted our fans to share this memory of what we accomplished with our music and with their support. It is our farewell video.”

Patrick Tracy directed the black and white masterpiece. The setting features Caillat and Young (who announced the end of their engagement earlier this year) stage front singing intimately to one another about moving forward after the heartbreak of a broken relationship while Reeves and Joy play piano and guitar in the background.

“I’m Never Getting Over You” was originally written by Reeves, Caillat and Liz Rose for Caillat’s Gypsy Heart album,  lyrics like “time is a broken heart’s best friend” “I want the end to be easier than the start” take on new meaning in light of Caillat & Young’s breakup and the band’s disbanding in this version, produced by Jamie Kinney and written by Caillat, Reeves, Liz Rose, Young and Joy.

“I’m Never Getting Over You” Lyrics:

I want the end to be easier than the start
You were a hopeful heart that I shattered apart
I wanna say goodbye and disappear
Don’t wanna watch if you break down into tears
Don’t try to make me stay
Cause I ain’t gonna change my mind
Take a good look at the pain in my face before you walk away
Memorize all the hurt in my eyes, not what I say
I’m gonna give you what you wanted,
Though my heart will never stop
Tell you that I’m fine even though I’m not
You’re gonna know for the rest of your life
This is true, I’m never getting over you
I’m never getting over you

We’ll move on and you’ll find somebody new
With everything, I could never be for you
It’s hard to hear, but time is a broken heart’s best friend
There’s a morning waiting for you
With a know what could have been

Take a good look at the pain in my face before you walk away
Memorize all the hurt in my eyes, not what I say
I’m gonna give you what you wanted,
Though my heart will never stop
Tell you that I’m fine even though I’m not
You’re gonna know for the rest of your life
This is true, I’m never getting over you
I’m never getting over you

I’m gonna give you what you wanted,
Though my heart will never stop
Tell you that I’m fine even though I’m not
You’re gonna know for the rest of your life
This is true, I’m never getting over you
I’m never getting over you

I can’t stop you from leaving
And you can’t stop me from loving you

So take a good look at the pain before you walk away
Memorize all this hurt, not what I say
I’m gonna give you what you wanted,
Though my heart will never stop
Tell you that I’m fine even though I’m not
You’re gonna know for the rest of your life
This is true, I’m never getting over you
I’m never getting over you
I’m never getting over you

I’m never getting over you
