G.R.L.’s Simone Battle dies at 25

X Factor USA star and member of G.R.L., Simone Battle has died at the age of 25, from currently unknown causes. Battle was on the USA version of X Factor in 2011 and was mentored by Simon Cowell before being eliminated. She joined the group G.R.L. later that same year. The group’s song, “Wild Wild Love” (with Pitbull) was released this year and received a fair amount of radio play, reaching #30 on Billboard’s Hot 100. Our heart goes out to the singer’s friends and family in this hard time.
