I mean, is it really a surprise to anyone that Taylor Swift’s 1989 is still dominating the charts? At the moment she’s got three different songs that are getting a fair amount of radio play on pop/Top 40 stations from that album, (Style, Blank Space and Shake It Off) after all, so it’s not like people could forget about it. With it’s 10th week (non-consecutive) at number 1, though, Swift becomes one of only a few who have done so with multiple albums, and some of them are some of the biggest names in music history – The Beatles, Whitney Houston, Elvis, the Kingston Trio, Henry Mancini and the Monkees (Rolling Stone). Pretty impressive for a 25-year-old girl from Pennsylvania! Congrats, Taylor!
