CMA ’14 SPOTLIGHT | Lady Antebellum

Lady Antebellum has been announced as one of the 20 acts set to perform during the sold out Nightly Concerts at LP Field for the 2014 CMA Music Festival. Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood will take the stage on the last day of the festival, on Sunday, June 8th in Nashville.

Now, the Nashville-based trio is no stranger to the CMA Music Festival, for they’ve been performing there every year since they released their very first album in 2008. Formed in 2006, the band signed with Capitol Records Nashville a year later. The band then proceeded to make history in country music, releasing 5 albums, and winning over 50 awards, including 7 Grammy Awards and 7 CMA Awards.

After opening on tour for Martina McBride, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum scored their first headlining tour, the Need You Now Tour, in 2010. In 2011, the Own The Night Tour followed the release of the band’s second album. Now, the trio is currently on their third headlining tour, the Take Me Downtown Tour, to promote their latest album ‘Golden’. The tour kicked off onJanuary 10th, and is set to run till June 27th.
