All-American Rejects Are Back!

By  |

The All-American Rejects have been flying under the radar for some time now. It’s been almost two years since the band has made new material since releasing  Kids In The Street in 2012. Frontman Tyson Ritter has been tweeting that the band is currently “talking about” a new album.

The band just released a new track today titled ‘There’s A Place” written for the upcoming film, Miss You Already starring Drew Barrymore and directed by Catherine Hardwicke. Tyson Ritter also stars in the film and inspiration for the song struck when he was shooting on set. The song is different from the usual rock driven AAR sound, it features Ritter’s vocals over acoustic guitars and has a more relaxed feel. The song is composed of touching lyrics written as a goodbye note from the main character, Milly who is diagnosed with cancer, to her loved ones. Ritter says this song is “something I’m very proud of as it came from the purest center of myself.” Check out the song below!
