3PM Spotlight!

By  |

If you’re a fan of Blink-182, Green Day, New Found Glory or Yellowcard, you should probably give 3PM a listen – those four bands are some 3PM’s biggest musical inspirations, which you can definitely hear when you give any of their songs a listen. It is a three-man band featuring Brennan Stark as vocals and bass, Scott Montgomery on guitar and Brandon Millman on drums. They became a band in the summer of 2012 in Maryland, and have so far released two albums: “Change of Plans” and “Slow Me Down”, the latter of which was released just this past August.

While they’ve only been around for two years now, they’ve already made some waves in the pop-punk scene, at least on the East Coast. They were one of the five bands with the most votes in Warped Tour’s Battle of the Bands for the Columbia, Maryland stop of the tour, and got to play on the Ernie Ball Stage on that date. They were also one of three openers for All Time Low’s “A Concert For Casey” charity show in Baltimore. In terms of social media, they’ve got over 12 thousand followers on the main band Twitter and over six thousand likes on Facebook, which is none too shabby for an unsigned band from Baltimore.

Their music has a general theme of being upbeat, catchy and about girls – everything that you would expect from a pop-punk band. They even wrote a song about Warped Tour, “Won’t Go Home”. They recently released a lyric video for their song “Slow Me Down”, which you can watch and listen to below. If you like what you hear, don’t forget to support – their music is available for purchase on iTunes here.
